Big chance for our player of the year!!!!!

Wasn't the Haringey game at your ground a bit of a fluke result, they led at half time but after you equalised just after the break I gather it could have been a cricket score by all accounts. We played Cranfield United three times last season, all at their Crawley Road ground, and it was the middle game in the Division 1 Cup that they were by far the best team we played all season. We were leading 4-1 at half time however the scoreline flattered us and we barely got out of our own half during the second period, not even Brimsdown tested us to that degree.

We didn't lead, we were 2-0 down after eight minutes but came back superbly with the goal of the season and could have easily got a draw in the end.

The goal was a complete freak that the scorer couldn't repeat it in 1,000 attempts. We "declared" at half time and made 10 changes. You were a complete rabble and only kept ten men on the field to the end because the ref couldn't remember who he booked, as you wore no numbers!

Horace - Well that's simply sour grapes on your part and when has a run of the mill pre season friendly between a Step 5 and a Step 6 Club still been talked about almost a year later. What does that tell you about our pulling power which Biggleswade United, Eton Manor and Clapton are all going to benefit from this time round, are you sure you don't want to renew acquaintances.

You are completely barking! The friendly only gets talked about a year on because YOU keep raising the subject. But for that, it would have vanished into the mists of time. You have NO pulling power as the above named clubs will find out when they play you.
