goddard signs for urchins

Richard Goddard – centre half - started his career at Arsenal as a trainee, and then went to Brentford before leaving for Woking in 2000. Arrived at Chesham the season after before moving to St Albans and then Harrow in 2002. Signed for Purfleet at the start of the 2004/5 season. Made over 50 appearances for Thurrock, and then joined Yeading in the summer of 2006.

 

Harry Elmes – forward - previously played for Somerset Ambury V&E (now Broxbourne Borough), before joining Waltham Abbey. Last season Harry scored 24 goals in 43 appearances for Abbey.

Solid as a rock at centre half but can also play centre forward
