Just been back on after a break i'm disgusted by Rhodes comments a man with a wife a kids shouldn't be posting stuff like that i wonder if his wife know's what he's upto when he sais he's on the football forum??

Browndog - You would be and it's typical of you and the likes of Spidermanor to milk this for all it's worth, I've sorted it with Paula and she got the wrong end of the stick that's all, it was a joke.

Have to agree Browndog, a disgusting man. Obviously NFs weekly pics n vids arent enough for him to get off.

 

Funniest bit for me so far is him having to get his missus banned from here, how did that go down over brekkie?

 

Paula must be a very forgiving woman thats all I can say, she was fuming earlier!!!!

Well as Paulb said we'll see what she has to say when she comes on, she's probably down at Canvey Island watching the Liverpool game however I have held my hands up and apologised to her for any offence caused, what more can I do.

Sorry to mention this but sometimes, just sometimes it would be nice to stick to serious comments on the original discusion thread. It's a bit friggin tedious reading the threads only to view the same old, comments, innuendo's, double en-toundrous etc. Is anyone genuinely interested in SML, Footie in general!

Rhodes - I really dont think I gor the wrong end of the stick at all.
And yes everyone he did apoligise but I aint interested. My boyfriend has just read this whole thread and he aint happy frown
I have managed to calm him down but I just hope he never meets up with you again Rhodes he dont have a short memory.
Many people on here have given me stick and i've given it back. Much has been crude and suggestive and again I have taken it in good stead but Rhodes crossed the line.
To suggest on here that every one next season will find out I act like Gillian Tayforth in either my car or theres is NOT funny. angry

Well I think Football Man got it about right in his post, there is certainly a feeling that there is apathy around these parts for non league football and even though The 61 FC (Luton) is free attendances are very poor.

 

With football overload on TV where certainly youngsters are only interested in big clubs which get shown to saturation point and even things like Soccer Saturday on Sky, where while they are a glorified teletext service are entertaning and have a detrimental effect.

 

Poor coverage of local football doesn't help, well thats certainly the case in this area where you are lucky to get a few lines, but I would guess that the local papers would point to the attendance figures and claim they are justified. I've already touched on free entry into The 61 but at grounds where you have to pay I have been unimpressed at the prices charged, I know its going out of the SSML but teams like Bedford and Dunstable, where I would be happy to attend, have prices which I consider way to high and its the same lower down, they don't attract "non" fans in, I'm not talking neccesairily about non league fans or groundhoppers but supporters of bigger clubs who would take a look at the price and not even consider entering.

Why should Mr F have to ignore a thread that he started just because it gets taken over by people not interested in the subject the thread is about?
