I hear a rumour there may be a new club in Div 1 playing there next season. Anyone else hear this ?

Not heard nowt mate, although had a quick look there the other night and it's still...er....not in a great shape

Probably been invaded by an overflow of travellers from the River Lane gypsy site after M.V.D.C's monumental defeat in court which cost 'em over £50,000 !!!

I heard something similar, although the club concerned are still a junior team and nothing about them playing CCL

They play alot of Southern Combinations Rep Team Games There. We Played There About 2 Times This Season!

 

One time the night before it snowed! FREEZING

 

And After About A Week Of Rain, A foot of water in the penatlty spot and the centre centre was perfect for diving (and i'm not talking about Drogba diving )

Evening all,

 

The team in question is actually a Sutton based based team called SCR (abbr of Sutton Common Road) who appear on the list of prospective clubs to play in Div One next season

 

The team were originally formed in 1978 as Inrad and played in the Sunday Invicita League. Many name changes and changes of leagues has taken place over the years but the club is still run by the son of the clubs founder from all those years back

 

They reached the Surrey Intermediate Cup Semi Final in 2006-07 but I'm not so sure of their recent history I think they may have been playing in the Surreu South Eastern Combination but I'm not sure
