As i understand it from information gleaned. The 5 a sides are being built on ground that is a known Roman grave yard. Provided the excavation can happen with out breaking the surface of the underlying chalk bed then everything is A OK. this is very nearly possible except in one corner. This is perhaps why they must look at the height of the playing surface Being above actual ground level in one corner.

I also believe the Councillors want a day out in the park on (i believe) Wednesday to view the impact if any of the said raising of levels.

I am not saying any of this is fact or official, just my interpritation of bits and pieces i have heard.

Perhaps the reason for not getting a reply from the club is 2 fold. Vicky is still away and the Club had a break in last week and the Computer stolen.

Also any if one see's any one playing with Chryso football's please ask them to give them back(20 plus Stolen a month ago) Also the Stewards Radio's.

Other damages done were windows/ door glass broken in the shop and a office window.
