Me ? A lap-dog ?

Now that IS funny !

If you are waiting for an eviction, I wouldn't use the words 'Breath' and 'Holding' in the same sentence !

Well its all coming home to roost now chaps. A few true colours are showing ( by the way onlooker are you Steve or Andy)and Parko you seen too well informed and passionate to be "just an interested party".

The quotes you make about "knowing somebody at the council" and "the league are sorry for the position Bookham are in" makes me think that you don't really care about the position Bookham are in. And how the hell would you know anyway unless not only do you have a mole in the council (Parko's girlfriend but did he not just say he's been away with the wife and kids must have a bit on the side aka WW in Basingstoke) but a mole on the League commitee as well.

O what a tangled web we weave.

To quote a star wars analogy " I think the Lunns have crossed over to the Park Side and have been cut down by Yoda Collin's light sabre.

Desperation rules OK.

I'm sure JR knows alot. He just choses what he says. Strange isn't it that there is not so much interest in other clubs business on here. I can't believe that Dorking who have been one of the most uninteresting teams in this League and who not many people watch command so much interest. Did you watch them much?

I must admit that I was a reader but never contributed. I only came on here to wind teffers up as i played with him many years ago. As for knowing alot I've just read other posts and drawn my own conclusions. But hey great banter when you can rattle someones cage isn't it. Not too far off the mark though I bet.

WE WERE TOLD THAT WE HAVE BEEN SACKED FOR NOT SHOWING LOYALTY , BUT THE WEB SITE SAYS THAT WE WERE ASKED TO LEAVE AS THE CLUB FEELS IT NEEDS A CHANGE OF DIRECTION . LOYALTY GOES BOTH WAYS WHAT OTHER MANAGERS LOOK AFTER AND MAINTAIN THE CLUBS PITCH ALSO MARK OUT THE PITCH PAINT CHANGING ROOMS PICK UP LITTER, BUY THERE OWN FIRST AID EQUIPTMENT, PAY FOR THE PITCH TO BE CUT , BUY NEW KIT FOR WARMING UP ALSO NEW SOCKS AND SHORTS , BUILD ANOTHER NEW TEAM AFTER THE MONEY WAS PULLED AT THE END OF LAST SEASON WE WOULD OF FINISHED MID TABLE BUT FOR 2 [****!!****] UPS INVOLVING THE SECRETARY SO WE WERE DOCKED 6 POINTS . 50 YEARS BETWEEN US AS PLAYERS AND MANAGERS SHOWS NO LOYALTY I AGREE . have another look at the dorking forum bigjr, the "brief statement" has disappeared and its strangely quiet. Im against censorship, and I am seeking clarity.

The statement from the official sources just gets me more worried about the club.

We regret having to make this decision at this time but in the interests of the shareholders of Dorking Football Club Limited, the Board had no other course of action.

could you exert any influence you have to get the club to come clean and let us all in on the situation. Shouldnt be a problem, Parkboy reported the lease was in, and youve said its all sorted

6 months is correct, but what I am told is that there was some sort of notice given back in Oct/Nov but not sure what.

What is for sure is - With the Council taking this action which could take 6 months then no one will have a lease in time for the Combined Counties AGM. This will mean that Dorking will not be part of the league which has already been said. This also goes for Bookham but they would still be able to play Div 1 football at their ground in Bookham.

This is also the case for Raynes Park, not having a lease.

So it looks like no senior football in Dorking for season 2007/2008, if this happens I would think the council would change the use of the ground and sell it off.

I just don't think some people understand how serious this is for Dorking,Bookham and Raynes Park.

But I do think the council need to take some responsibility for all this mess and they have let the ground get in the state it is.

parky didn't you say already that the Dorking lease had been presented to the League?

if so was it satisfactory? I wonder what the league rules are, wether you have to prove that you can complete season or just be in situ today?

So perhaps the current Dorking setup starts the season, gets booted out and goes a groundsharing?

Indeed it does seem the council should have had a better handle on this.

Im shouting off because there seems no indication of any of this in the press (Dorking Ad not picked up yet)and it does seem to me a real threat to senior football in Dorking.

I have a soft spot for Bookham having lived there and they need to know

To the parties involved : theres a good way to stop all this chatter : state the facts!

I to am sorry Steve & Rusty have been relieved of their jobs, 2 guys I have known for 20+ years in football.

I have thought long and hard over what response I should make and it is as follows :-

For the good of my club, I will not be drawn into the on going discussions on this thread. I know we do understand how serious this is, but are not prepared to comment on speculation & hearsay. There will be no further response from me on these issues until resolved.

I was just trying to get a reaction when I mentioned that the lease has been sorted.

The Combined Counties have already said no lease no play in Combined Counties, but I am sure a park league will take them.

I am surprised no one has come on here from Raynes Park to say what is going on.

It is a shame that Dorkings website has removed a few posts from the message board as this is what makes non league football the greatest.

I wonder if anyone has emailed this forum link to the Council, Paper or the League.
