Whelps v. Kerrers! Who's your money on?

Another feather in the clubs cap and great for Whelps. He's helped give us a lot to shout about this season and I wish him well in his future career.

Tops off a succesful season nicely applause

So that'll be two friendlies sorted now?

Yes, tis a shame that Whelps has departed. However, he has the talent to progress be it with Posh or who-ever for the future and ultamately it is Billericay Town who will gain just as much from this (perhaps more in a relative sense)...

Well done to Chris and best of luck for the future.

P.S That Posh shirt collar looks strange though ! wink

Just been on the POSH website and Fair play to Whelps he has made a good move. A shame to lose such a great player and nice bloke. But onwards and upwards for both him and this club.

GOOD LUCK CHRIS.

How good a player is he???

Haven't seen him play but he must be a very good player as i have heard posh have a few bob knocking around and would of thought they would have bought div 1 or championship players if possible on the wages theey are reported to be playing so the lad must be a very good talent

As you asked Urchin mentaslist, yes, he is very good. Bearing in mind he was 19 when he joined us and has only recently turned 20, and his preferred position is wide right wing, he...

Is 6'1" and strong.

has a great engine

Is very pacey

Can cross and shoot with both feet equally well

Can and does track back and tackle

Can head it

Can dribble and will take on defenders

Is very brave and will not pull out of a 50/50

He can throw it beyond the penalty spot.

He Scores goals (double figures for us this season)

Has tricks to find space.

Joined us in October last year and won player of the season.

With full time training he will improve and is, imo, destined for bigger and better things.
