Just about everybody in L**ds was 'willing on' Farsley Celtic on Monday night and they duly delivered and will now be playing Conference level football next season. It's something of a fairy story for manager Lee Sinnott who in his first managerial post has stirred them to three promotions in five seasons.

 

It's doubly interesting from my point of view in that, it's another Fleet game I can attend, fixtures allowing. Farsley's ground is a ten-minute car ride from my home and a 20-minute train journey.

 

Who would have imagined only 3/4 years ago that the minnows of Farsley would be only two divisions below the Mighty (cough cough) L**ds Utd and one below near neighbours Bradford City?

 

Funny old game init?
