by mutual consent goes the press release but if you read this extract it seems pretty obvious that the stumbleburgers down there are getting a little over ambitious...

 

"Tony's first job was to get us back up the non-league ladder which he did at the first attempt. His next job was to keep us there and he did that this season," said Southgate.

 

"However, the club needs to look forward. We have ambitions and it was felt that the time is right for a change as some new faces could give fresh impetus to the challenges that Tilbury face".

 

I like crossy and he's a good manager....good value for money in the dugout...worked hard and put competitive teams out with little money...took the banter well and gave it back...pi55ed a few people off from time to time but so what... I wish him well.... applause

He's a bit like Borgy; if he's under your umbrella he's a legend but the opposition hate him (as do refs shocked ) Nonetheless he done a good job at Tilbury and as much a [****!!****] he is, I'm sure he's a good honest bloke and wish him all the best.
