Strong rumours on the Bromley forum that he's going to sign for them when he gets back from his holiday. Also that he's spoken to Justin Edinburgh at Grays.

Just letting people who read this thread know what has been put on the Bromley forum. To be honest, I'd be surprised to see him here next season as he's obviously in demand. As a Gate fan, thats just my gut feeling.

I would be very VERY surprised if Danny stays with us, anyone in the right mind will go to a club in a higer league if i am honest. We will have to see. At the moment it is just rumours.

Agree June MARGATE to us is a great club BUT the players life is short and if they can get more money playing for another then its goodbye from them every time.

Would be a real loss, and we would sturggle to find any one of his caliber at our level to score the goals he has.

But could you blame him? even if it is only one stage higher the fact that bromley is closer to home for him and perhaps the chance to even move up another level depending on how Bromley perform in the conf south would be a big temptation.

But the midfield made alot of the chances for him;and they can do the same for someone else if needs be.

I hope DH stays, but worse things could happen like SCS leaving !

Well at the moment Hockton is still a Margate player and I hope it will stay that way. The rumours may well be accurate, but then again they may well be the complete opposite, so its just a guessing game at the moment.

 

I can understand the lure of movingh to a higher placed club, but I hope if the rumours are at all accurate that Danny will choose to try and help Margate get into the Conf South instead of going to Bromley.

if he`s got blue blood he will be here next season , if he wants to progress then he must step up the ladder ,thats the only way to the top , look at Sam Sodje we all know how much he loved us all at MFC but he knew he had to go and prove to himself that he could do better and he has but he will always give Margate the credit for where he is now . Lets hope that Danny won`t go anwhere but if he does for whatever reason i hope he gives Margate the same sort of credit that Sam gave us .Up the Gate.
