I'd better stay on topic....I never get bored of the H/K and T threads. They are very informative. Plus i took a look at the league table for the SSML and very few teams from it post on here at all. Perhaps a bit of canvassing is needed

I wasnt meant to be harsh RobbieO the fact i was trying to make was that as the consistant Haringey poster i have never made a Haringey thread, as you say Rhodes does it for me. He is no longer affiliated to the club and so does it out of spite. To say you are bored of Haringey because of something Rhodes has done is like allowing him to win his silly war over Haringey which in my book just isnt going to happen.

I guess its the whole Rhodes vs Harringey thing that is the boring thing from an external point of view. Nothing against Harringey!!

I agree but trying telling Rhodes that. The only reason i come on here is to back up the club i support from rhodents.

 

If his vendetta against anything Haringey was to stop you probably wouldnt see me post as often, but until then prepared to be bored/amused as i tell you more home truths about KTFC and Clifford Rhodes AKA Quasimodo.

Clubs have no say so over what is said on an Unofficial Forum. If Clubs wish to moderate the views of the public then this can be done on an Official Forum.
Visit many forums, this Fans Focus one is far better than any other i have been on. Most degenerate into something far worse than you'll see on here. I have to say that this post by Bitch is one of the best and most sensible I have read on the Forum to date, and any other Forum come to that, however I'm sure a certain person in the corridors of power at a certain Club in North London wouldn't agree. To report me to the SSML for comments made on here just about says it all about him and the Club Secretary's earlier post, via Rak, would confirm that he doesn't have a leg to stand on and has been laughed out of Court which I'm sure he is used to in his profession.

Not if people don't want it to, as Bitch rightly says one man's meat is another man's poison, or words to that effect, and nobody is obliged to reply to a post, it's a free country. You stated earlier that if it wasn't for me posting negative comments about 'our' beloved Haringey you wouldn't feel the need to come on to defend them and probably wouldn't bother. Well why bother as you really do post some absolute nonsense that is bringing far more attention to the Club and their failings, what I post is the truth and everyone knows it, 'we' should be in the Conference, yet we're in the SSML Division 1 thanks to 'Sugar'.

Rhodes - Can i ask why you believe Harringey should be in the conference?

 

Surely to get Harringey in the conference would involve millions of pounds in player wages and ground development, as well as planning permission etc, and all that goes with it.

 

Has 'Sugar' stopped this from happening?

 

From what i can see Harringey are an SSML club playing at a level where they belong, with the rest of us!

Robbie, Rhodes has mentioned on here that he had backers lined up to pump the money in to get Haringey into the conference but he was stopped by 'Sugar'.

 

As none of us know the real story behind this apart from that Rhodes got the sack.

Ambitious to say the least!

 

Id say the best clubs can hope for at this level is a good FA Cup/Vase run along with any gradual progress up the leagues.

 

I still dream of making Match of the Day highlights, or being mentioned on Sky Sports News!!

Ha Ha, one year at Hoddesdon we had the Sky cameras at an FA Cup game to interview the Ardiles brothers and they showed a clip of us all singing 'and we're going to Wembley' etc in the changing room... even though Wembley was a pile of rubble at the time!!!

I beleive the goal scorer that day was one Ryan Redford and quote 'Hopefully I can use this as a stepping stone to better things' ... and 5 years later he's still in the SSML ... albeit scoring rather more goals!
