Bored of Harringay/Kentish/Temile Threads

Is it just me or has this forum rapidly become a sub forum for Harringay/Kentish? Is it just me that is bored of it? To be fair i dont start many new topics, but surely there is more to SSML football than this!!

i'm with you robbieO !...its bad enough that the season is fininshed and we are all bored s h i t less !...we still have to put up with those s h i t e threads !... I say we start a revolt and get everyone to ignore the boring old repetitive threads that include haringay/kentish/temile !

A great shout, i never paused to think that all mentioned topics are now (nearly officially) Div 1 material! I dont mind Div1, just the whole Harringay thing. Who Cares!!!!!!

RobbieO - So where would we start the thread on the eagerly awaited pre-season friendly at Second Meadow in August then. I'm more than happy to suggest to Ian to start up a SSML Division 1 Forum if that's what you all want however I bet the likes of Potters Bar Town, Horace, Lato and Spidermanor would soon come on giving me grief.

Potters Bar Town - Just the opposite infact, it will be far more popular than a separate Premier Division Forum, even RobbieO readily admits that all mentioned topics are now nearly all Division 1 material and I will make a point of knocking on the doors of your Cranfield United's, Winslow United's, Sun Postal Sports, Amersham Town's, Ampthill Town's and Brache Sparta's to name a few in order to ensure that they all take part.

I wouldnt say a separate forum is neccessary, plenty of room for all of us here, but if you took out all the needless threads about Harr/Kent/Clem, etc there would be plenty of Prem issues to sift through, as well as Div 1 stuff too. The current state of affairs will no doubt put potential newbies off as every thread turns into a slanging match for various reasons. It would be great if more clubs/people were posting, the more the merrier......but the forum at the moment is getting stale in terms of content, Correct me if i am wrong.....no offence intended!

RobbieO your intentions are good but like you have said previously you dont start many threads and so if more were like you, you will find the forum dying out and people coming on to check for the first time will go as its boring! Yes Haringey gets mentioned too much but i have never started a thread about Us others have - then slag us off and so the debate continues.

Public forums can be accessed and used by anybody. As long as the content abides by the rules of the site then people can virtually say anything they wish, within reason one would hope, but one mans reason may not be anothers

 

Clubs have no say so over what is said on an Unofficial Forum. If Clubs wish to moderate the views of the public then this can be done on an Official Forum.

 

Visit many forums, this Fans Focus one is far better than any other i have been on. Most degenerate into something far worse than you'll see on here. You all get something out of it, or you wouldn't bite to the posts you say offend you...Make your own thread titles and keep it on topic, ignoring the one's that aren't

3praise - you have never had to start a thread on Harringey, Rhodes does it for you!! I have started a few threads to be fair and contribute if a topic is interesting enough. Bit harsh mate.
