Lucky West Ham?

Looks like you annoyed ny hammer there JJ.

The Premiership would prefer West Ham to stay up rather than Sheff Utd and Wigan as their fixture generate more interest with the fans which in turns means more money into the pockets of the League.

Rules never came into it. Money has devalued the professional game and if we are not careful non league football will follow.

Television dictates when matches are played and agents who plays.

I might be wrong here, but I always thought you could sign free agents outside of the transfer window, and if Tevez need to be resigned, and he wasn't signed to us... then he must have been a free agent, anyway, he was never ineligable, it was just the FA getting worked up over a bit of paper work, never worth a points deduction, but a fine, it's all the fault of backroom staff, and players on the pitch don't deserve to be punished.

There were more important injustices, like how AFC Wimbledon had they're punishment reduced by 15 points, and do you really want to have to put up with Colin [****!!****] on MOTD ever week?

Margate man - on the one hand you say "it was just the FA getting worked up over a bit of paper work, never worth a points deduction, but a fine, it's all the fault of backroom staff, and players on the pitch don't deserve to be punished" and with your next breath you say "There were more important injustices, like how AFC Wimbledon had they're punishment reduced by 15 points"!

Talk about contradicting yourself!!!! Fact is, AFCW's crime was a much lesser one than WHU's yet they got the heavier punishment.

Boro' got deducted 9 points for having a whole team out with flu and got relagated due to that which is a more legitimate reason than playing an illegal player who almost single handedly keeps them up, then go and blatantly lie about it yet get just a fine. It stinks. It's all about the money clubs sadly.

Let's just hope Sheff Utd. get a just decision in the courts.

I am a WHU fan and if they deserve a points deduction then lets do it and stop dragging football through the mud. If the Premier league clubs really want Sheff Utd and their thug of a manager in the Premiership then so be it. smile

I didn't mean to contradict my self, but the fact remains that Tevez and Mascherano where never inelegible, as the BBC prove in this article under "Why Tevez can still play for West Ham"

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/6638575.stm

Where as Wimbledon's player was inelegible, our 'crime' was very different, and has to do with the fact that Kia could essentially buy the players back from us at any time to sell to someone else, so it's a completely new problem to the PL, and so there is no "expected" outcome, and a points deduction was a choice availible to the PL, as well as a fine, or both, depending which they felt appropriate. Sheffield United where the worst team on the pitch for the season, and Neil just wants to blame everyone around him, West Ham, Liverpool, United, but not himself or his inept team

Like I said dock them points for cheating.

Don't forget to dock United points for preventing Howard from playing against them.

Or Spurs for winning against Portsmouth with a blantant dive.

Shall I go on ?
