This is true. Work commitments etc. He announced it at the presentation evening on Saturday. He said it was probably the hardest decision he's ever had to make and he didnt take the decision lightly. There was a huge feeling of disappointment after he announced it but he got a huge standing applause.

Things are up in the air now at Ash as no-one knows who's taking over next season. Ash United had better bring in the right person for the job or you may see a huge change in players and staff. There are some very good players at Ash who have been around a while and many of them are good enough to walk into any CCL team and maybe 1 or 2 teams higher up too. Lets hope for Ash United they get the right man.

If anyone hears any whispers then let us know.

Whoever takes over has got a tough job as 3rd place last year and 4th this year will be tough to beat.

I spoke to him briefly and he said that his managerial career is certainly not over and he will be back. All i can say is, when he does return to the football scene there will def be teams after his services. He commands a lot of respect from players and gets it too. In his short time as manager i think he has done wonders and has become a very good manager.

As much as i love Ash and the years i've been there, if he comes back id rather play for Cove on that Cow field!! Although thinking about it, i'd rather quit altogether than play for Cove!! He He!!
