Byron Walton has secured the services of veteran striker Steve Hale as player/coach for season 2007/2008.Hale,now 37,Joined Northwood in March 2000 and made an immediate impact before moving onto Hayes and then Slough Town. Hale returned to Northwood for a shorter second spell which took his total record to 83 goals in 138 league and cup games,47 of which were as a substitute before leaving for Maidenhead.
