Afternoon campers. This thread seems to have created some interest and Horace's pretty pictures are impressive. Strangely enough the seating area above is exactly where we had in mind to house the away fans although it is very open to the elements and we may need to reconsider if it is a wet day for example or particularly cold in say January or February, at least we are throwing in that nice warm free cup of tea at half time which will be some consolation and something to look forward to and burger, hot dog and crisp prices etc will be kept to a minimum. Regarding the sarcastic comments about the Athletics, Horace's photos are quite deceptive and the track is not as wide as it looks, we will however be 'employing' ball boys and girls from local Schools so as to keep play as constant as possible. Have no fear we have every angle covered, trust me.

In fairness it all sounds great value for just £10

Segregation in a roofless stand, hours of fun thumbing through an action packed glossy programme, supping a cup of tea from a polystyrene mug and gorging on a polystyrene burger served by a mug. Such value, and to boot you get a printed match ticket, a free Hubble telescope to see the action and the number of the local police to report your car theft to at games end.

I'm in the ticket office queue as we speak.

Wader - Extremely amusing however that's not how it's going to be at all and you have a totally false impression. Strangely enough we are having a Committee meeting this afternoon when much will be discussed, what can you get for £10 these days anyway and if you sit down and think about it sensibly then £10 is superb value to see a match which I guarantee will be an eventful blood and thunder local derby as was the case when the two teams last met each other in a pre season friendly in August 2004. 3praise said in an earlier post that you can go and see Leyton Orient for just a couple of pounds more and I think that summed it up beautifully and at the same time said everything you need to know about 3praise and the Haringey Borough mentality.

If you rather go to Brisbane Road to watch your football and pay £12 for the 'privilege' then work it out for yourself. Incidentally will you be venturing out to the Copthall Stadium next season to watch 'our' beloved Borough, if so a letter about how to apply for tickets will be winging it's way to the Club Secretary as soon as the date of the eagerly awaited fixture is announced. I suppose it depends whether it is on the final Saturday before Christmas or during the week.

I'm not taking the chance of applying for tickets by post. I'm standing in the bloody queue at the ground. We haven't moved for days.

Water water everywhere yet not a drop to drink, water water everywhere and the other queuers stink.

Where's that luvvly cuppa you promised?

Wader - Surely you will be going to see Biggleswade Town play when the eagerly awaited Kentish Town v Haringey Borough fixture takes place. Incidentally I am sure we have met each other previously, weren't you the hospitality man and tea pourer when we used to arrive at Fairfield, I used to bring three or four of the kids with me and they left some clothes and toys up there on our last visit, do you still happen to have them.

Wader - How can you be so sure.

Horace - Why's that then, I've been to four or five Haringey v Biggleswade Town fixtures both at Coles Park and at Fairfield so if Wader wasn't at any of those he must be an armchair fan.

Possibly but then why doesn't he say that. Anyway he still hasn't answered my question as to whether he was the individual who enquired after the football memorabilia in the 'boardroom' at Coles Park in April.

How do you know that question was asked? Do you have Cecil-Cam set up secretly in their Boardroom?

I would give the answer to your question as to 'who inquired' but I personally feel duty bound by the honourable code of 'what is said in a Boardroom, stays in a Boardroom.'

I know some others may not abide by that creed, but I for one think it is sacrosanct. Not a secret society, not a closed shop, but I firmly believe that there has to be an element of trust between club officials that doesn't need to dirty or enlighten the waters of any or even this most esteemed of public forums.

I'm afraid you will hear no Boardroom gossip from me.... unless in self-defence of course!
