Next Season.

If the police tell you that it has to be made all ticket and that you have to prove who you are at the turnstile with a driving licence or passport, then how can you also make it pay on the day? It's either all ticket or it's not.

Out of interest is the £10 a one off for the Haringey match or is it the normal admission price for you next season?

AWK - I'm not entirely with you, the game is all ticket and the tickets will have people's names printed on them, a meticulous check will be carried out at the turnstile by individuals employed by the Club to ensure driving licenses or passports match the names on the ticket otherwise admission will be refused. No a £10 charge is only made for all ticket matches due to the extra cost involved however as I said it is still good value for money with a programme included and a cup of tea at the interval, the programme itself is worth £3 and will be a bumper edition.

I understood this as away fans would be able to pay on the day Rhodes, maybe I misunderstood it.

To be honest I really can't see £10 charge for a SSML Division 1 match being a seller mate, no matter how much you throw in with it. What will your normal prices be (for non all ticket games)?

Horace - there must be enough material for an update of the RhodesWorld website here!

AWK - Thanks for your interest however we have been guided by the London Borough of Barnet Police on this and they have forced our hand into charging £10. Away fans certainly won't be able to pay on the day under any circusmstances whatsoever and a separate pen will be identified in the stadium where they will be shepherded before kick off, this was another Police stipulation but I will have to clarify with them whether this includes Directors and Committee members. Normal admission prices for next season for games not all ticket will be £5 including a programme.

In what specific way have the Police forced you to charge £10? Have they actually said "you must charge £10" or is this another famous clip Rods misinterpretation/exaggeration?

Hahaha, you really are funny. Hahahahahahahahaha.
This is the funniest thread I've ever read on this particular forum.....although no-one should get big-headed with that accolade, I've only been on here for a few months.

'Segregating visiting Directors'...Hahahahahaha, ooh my sides hurt....

Wader - It may sound funny to you however the Forum members who know me such as 3praise (alegedly) will tell you that I'm perfectly serious and anybody without a valid ticket on the day, that fails to match with their id, will not be admitted into the stadium under any circumstances. HTFCew was correct up to a point by suggesting that we will have to pay for a Police presence, I have still to discuss this however don't forget that we will also be forced to get tickets printed which is built into the £10 admission charge.

You miss the point Cecil.

In a segragtion situation you never segregate club officials - that is what a Directors Box is for.

You have to pay for a Police presence. They come in a minimum of pairs. However, if the Police then call for back up for any reason, that is not charged for.

Instead of rolling over you should have insisted on talking to the head honcho busy at Barnet cop-shop. You should of explained carefully all the facts and insisted that their proposals had no merit and were indeed just overblown hyperbole. In short, tell them to eff off and stop being as daft as a box of frogs.

If they still insist on a Police presence you have every right to produce your evidence of their stupidity and insist that they pay for any officers they are determined to send to the ground.

This is all seriously funny stuff. I've never heard of such bunkum for a club in your position. The Police cannot determine your clubs trading policy without proper justification.

Perhaps the Barnet Police have been taken in by clip Rods' own overblown hyperbole? It was always likely to land him in hot water one way or another. I have visions of a huge Police presence turning up and outnumbering the crowd (including club officials) by a ratio of about 10:1 and clip Rods then being carted away in a van for wasting Police time. Do you think they'd put him in a cell or lock him up in an institution for the criminally insane?
