I also note the dig about Cockfosters..you aren't really still bitter are you (rhetorical!)

Lato - No need to be intrigued, we consulted with the London Borough of Barnet Police as soon as we secured the Copthall Stadium and the first question they asked us was how many local derbies will you be having, when I responded one, possibly two, they requested that these fixtures be made all ticket so all ticket they are althouigh I have yet to formally inform the SSML. Once the date for our home fixture with Haringey Borough, and possibly Cockfosters, has been announced next season we will formally write out with details of how tickets can be applied for and passes for Directors and Committee members will be supplied although the Club will have to furnish us with names of who will be attending and these tickets will not be transferable, identification will have to be shown on the turnstile such as a passport or driving licence.

Absolutely hilarious, clip Rods. For the record, neither Cockfosters nor Haringey are close enough to be considered local derbies and, even if they were, the number of travelling supporters is hardly a cause for concern. I hope you haven't been exaggerating to the Police the way you exaggerate on here as wasting Police time is considered a very serious offence.

I see where he is going wrong FM. He chose to consult London Borough of Barnet Police rather than the Met (or is it the Herts Constabulary up there). And I thought he was a friend of the Commissioner.

Rhodes dear boy, if you are going to wind people up with wild stories try to sprinkle some facts in there to make the story a shade more believable.

I shall read your "but I am being serious" reply in the morning.

Night night everyone.

Manorborn - I find it interesting that you know this as I don't recollect ever mentioning it on here, could that be one of the reasons why my ears were literally on fire during the two Haringey v Ruislip Manor games this season. As for my 'but I am being serious' reply, you took the words right out of my mouth, furthermore there will be a ten pound charge for paying away fans on the day although as I said Directors and Committee members will recieve the required number of tickets with their names on and these tickets will not be transferable under any circumstances whatsoever.

Rhodes, I do hope that Uncle Urchin is right and you really are a master wind-up merchant, because if you seriously have involved the police, and really believe that you will be having all ticket games, then you are absolutely BARKING MAD!

HTFCew - I am fully aware of rule 21 as I have the handbook next to my bed, the relevant extract reads "admission charges, excluding home Club concessions as appropriate, must be the same for home and visiting supporters at Competition matches". We are also charging our supporters £10 on the day. The £10 admission incidentally includes a match day magazine and a free cup of tea at half time so I really don't see what the problem is.
