We should be playing at our new ground and I understand that our Chairman has arranged the first game at the new Renault Stadium against Watford (who I understand will be using the facilities for their reserves). Do you think we could expect a very large attendence.?

A huge difference, clip Rods. One plays on a Saturday morning, probably before a first team or reserve team fixture (causing potential problems with postponements on wet days), whilst the other plays midweek.

Well hopefully I can clear that up for everyone. I am told that our floodlit, allweather pitch will be used for our training, our reserves training and watford reserves training (daytime) Our stadium pitch will only be used by our first team on saturdays and tuesdays and ours and Watford reserves on a wednesday/thursday. Hopefully that clears it all up.

Thanks for that, wadingbird. I'd heard a whisper at the Watford training ground that they were going to use it for academy matches, hence the question, but it seems more sensible to use it as a reserve venue.

Potters Bar Town - You will certainly be missed as a football administrator, your foresight is almost as meticulous as John Bacon's. Is that why Phil Rolt is public enemy number one in your eyes for not producing fixtures for a full season when your Club were in the SSML so you could check the long range weather forecast in August for games taking place in January.

Sport London E Benfica from the Middlesex County League are seeking join the Combined Counties but they groundshare at Hanwell Town

I saw Sport London e Benfica play a home match at Hanwell only on Monday night (2-0 win against Willesden Constantine). Why is it so surprising?

Well aren't they simply a Sunday league team made good who were still playing at places like Hackney Marshes and Wanstead Flats only last season. They must be giving Hanwell a fair whack to be able to use the hallowed Reynolds Field turf and I'll be interested to know how they are funded. You certainly are a glutton for punishment aren't you, Sport London e Benfica v 'the mighty' Willesden Constantine on a rainy Monday night, I take my hat off to you I really do.
