Now, I have to say this isn't my idea (Herself has the credit for this) but did our beloved council have some insider information about the name change? Over the past 12/18 months lots of those little brown road signs have gone up pointing the way to "The Fleet". No mention of Gravesend, Northfleet or GNFC anywhere on them.

Coincidence?

I doubt it. Gravesham Council seem pretty clueless about everything. The Fleet= small road sign, Gravesend and Norhtfleet Football Club = big road sign. I think it is the councils way of spending our council tax wisely. As we know they are good at that. NOT

At least you have road signs to your club.

Margate has two that were put up over 40 years ago and are about 1 foot square.

The only time our council leader showed himself was couple of weeks before the election to claim he supported the club (utter bolloxs on his track record). Since he got back in last week he has crawlled back under his rock
