Playoff Money

Although we will probably not be taking part in the playoffs, we will be receiving some cash.

 

The four play-off semi-final games will pay a share of gate money to a Conference pool. The two clubs in the final at Stoke City's Britannia Stadium will take 25% of the net gate receipts each, with the other 50% going to the pool. This should net £15,000 or more for each club not involved in the play-off system.

Will we get that before the £15,000 fine for our disciplinary record or after it?

Perhaps they will pay it straight over.

 

Lets look on the optomistic side, Margate were given a suspended fine last year and it was carried over to this year.

 

One of the reasons that we gave for our problems was that we were adjusting to a new higher level, and the FA accepted this. Hopefully, provided we at least improve our record for the rest of the season (Justin please take note), then perhaps they will do the same with us and see if we can keep our record in check next season.
