DORKING FOOTBALL CLUB

Recommended Posts

I have had a look at the Mole Valley DC website.

MVDC are the landlords of Meadowbank home to Dorking FC

On the 10/4/07 the policy commitee sat.

They considered the tenancy at Meadowbank.

It says they decided to issue a hostile notice to bring the tenancy to an end and instructed the head of Legal Proceedings to issue court proceedings.

So I wonder if anybody is prepared to tell us what is going on yet?

Evening thespursfan

I think you are just trying to wind some people up like Park Boy did, not saying that this is wrong as it has been fun reading some of the posts on this site.

It has been said before by myself that this is not the time nor the place to discuss an issue like this, as the people that are involved with Dorking deserve more than this.

You might be better off directing your questions direct to Dorking, their details can be found on their website.

And before Big JR says it - No I am not thespursfan either.

I'm sure that those empowered to speak will do so in the fullness of time and when appropriate.

Thank you Big JR and APM for replying.

I think the people of Dorking should know whats going on at the town's football club, perhaps while there is still a chance something can be done.

Keeping these things out of the local press APM is not a good sign. Sensible on your part though, leaves a clear run Gordon Brown style.

Unless we get some real information released from either party we have Nostradamus park boy.

Thursday today, Dorking Ad out. Do they have a letters to the editor page?

Thanks for your response BMonkey.

This matter was the last item on the agenda of the Policy Committee meeting you refer to, and was discussed in part.

All I am going to say on the matter, not being an official spokesman for the Club, is that the Club has differences of opinion on the treatment of certain issues with M.V.D.C. and that the Clubs lawyers are dealing with it as part of re-terming their lease.

Any hostile move by factions within the M.V.D.C. will be strongly resisted.

Might I suggest that if any further information be required at this stage, that questions be asked DIRECT to the Club as this subject is now being dealt with as a legal matter !

I THINK THE PENNY HAS FINALLY DROPPED WITH CERTAIN PEOPLE !

Still - I suppose it's not an offence to be intellectually challenged !
