Canary Wharf ??? Oh no....not Barclays.....anyone but them !!....anyway, wasn't Kenneth Chow's in Parrock Street ?

We could have a big announcement there and also declare the new toilets officially open as well !! saves the train fare !! oops !

Just a thought, just perhaps the new sponsor is going to be the ......

 

2012 Olympics.

 

One station down from Stratford, a team that will be playing nationwide so continuing to highlight the forthcoming Olympics to those in the rest of the country who in the main don't give a toss etc. etc.

 

Just an idea???

I sometimes drink in The Wharf on Crossways, can't recall seeing Mike Fleet there ( not that I know who he is anyway !!). Perhaps Mike should have his own song sung to him to identify him to the masses ( but not necessarily the same one that is sung to you H !.....and, just for the record, I do not join in with the choir !)

Canary Wharf is only a couple of miles from Stratford Station. This of course 'could' imply the Eurostar link. However, I thought the comapany were based in Waterloo, and surely they would want to highlight the link between Ebbsfleet the club and Ebbsfleet the station when announcing sponsorship?

There is no rail link between Ebbsfleet and Waterloo. Eurostar close their operations at Waterloo on 13.11.07 and start from St Pancras on 14.11.07, which is also the date that the Ebbsfleet Eurostar service commences.
