18th August according to Ryman League website. This is a week after the football league and Conference. The season will finish 26 April 2008. With all the fixtures in the lower leagues i.e. FA Cup and Trophy qualifying rounds staring early in the season why does the league start a week later? With the good weather it would save playing one match on a cold wet Tuesday night in February and probably add another 2-300 on the gate.
