New manager

Any news on 'crisis club' St Albans City's search for a new manager? I notice that the position was not advertised in yesterday's Non League Paper and there's no news on the official website.

I heard a rumour that there had been quite a few applicants and I assume that there was no need to advertise!

 

PS: Bad luck yesterday. I didn't watch the game but I heard there was some controversy regarding Morecambe's keeper.

Cheers Laz. The Morcambe keeper brought down Donaldson one-on-one on the edge of the penalty area. The ref deemed that Clayton Donaldson was not in with a chance of scoring so he didn’t send him off but he was injured. Their reserve keeper came on and got booked immediately for a bit sportsmanship in the lead up to the penalty.

 

We should have completed the task in the first game at our place. I wish Morcambe the best of luck in the next round and for the sake of the Blue Square Premier it will be great if Exeter City and Oxford United stay down.

The ref was Bang out of order not sending their keeper off.

Of the four playoff contenders the other three have all done the double over City! As you know, your lot only took a single point from us.

 

I'd like to see Oxford stay down too! I was impressed with Morecambe's ground; they are clearly a club headed in the right direction and the right speed.

Oxford staying in the conference for another season, good to see JC out there last night on the winning side.

I had to chuckle when I heard that Oxford had lost!

 

I wonder if they will reconsider their ticket pricing for next season now!
