Yes Daz. A very wavy boundary line exists over the back of the North Kent Railway Line. I seem to remember the old Blue Circle Sports Ground being part of Dartford.

Still, perhaps they'd welcome a more successful club than the one they currently have

(forgetting past records, of course! Oooh, hang on, they play in Northfleet too!).

Even a move to Gravesend would be frowned upon....? I'd hapily settle for a move within the borough above a move to somewhere like Central Park or Priestfield....

What would be wrong with sticking a new ground on the old AEI site somewhere down near the Red Lion.

Well if we went out by the old sea school we would be OK for a police presence, I believe that is now used by the Met for weapons training.

Talking of Dartford, I heard Tommy Sampson say on Friday evening on RK, that Darts had secured a deal for the continued Ground Share next season, albeit that the i's still needed dotting and the t's crossing.

 

They would obviously "pay more" he said for the groundshare, but obviously I know no more than that.

If we like the underdogs to win through, I'd quite like to see Hendon upstage both our old rivals from Essex, and Aldershot. I doubt Hendon's finances are anywhere near those of either of the other clubs, yet they're still in wit a shout, albeit that they need to win their games in hand.

After visiting Hendon last year in the Ryman, I can only say it was the worst ground I have ever seen at that standard,mud banks which were collapsing ,at the side of the pitch,next to a very old wooden stand, and the pitch itself was worse than a public park pitch.

It was good enough for Bontcho Guentchev a couple of years back.....mind you he was probably used to playing on beetroot fields back in Bulgaria in his youth before CSKA Sofia...
