Get rid of the offside rule

Recommended Posts

Would save us having to explain the offside rules to you girlies!!! grin

Anyway in hockey is it a case of you can't shoot from anywhere inside the 'D'? (apologies my knowledge is rather hazy confused)

Back on subject though, the offside rule is needed as us blokes would have nothing to talk about on a Saturday night down the pub!!!

Oh yeah of course. I told you my knowledge was hazy. Last play hockey over 12 years ago at school.

It's worked very well in hockey, would save one heck of a lot of 'was it, wasn't it?' discussions/arguments and could lead to a more open style of play.

What do you all think?

I think that the offside rule shld be taken away..
for example in tonights spurs game against blackburn, spurs wldve been bout 3 up if it wasnt for the lino putting his flag up for offside!!

in general it would stop disagreements as well.
