I thought he was out of contract at Welling? I haven't read the story so I may be corrected.

 

Apparently he has taken a wage cut to go to Grays which may not sound as silly as it does.

 

At Welling he is the big fish and they would have done what ever they could to keep him but at Grays he would have seen that as his big chance and would have been willing to take a cut in pay for that chance. Either that or Grays are breaking the rules again. You know the one, it's the one where you wage bill has to relate to your gate receipts. So Grays sign Kedwaell pay him in relation to their gate receipt's and then Woodward's company "employs" him to not work on the railway.

That's funny, cos I read somewhere that it was based on your turnover, not just your gate receipts.

If that's not the case the EUFC are going to be in real trouble.
