Its Harlow!

Recommended Posts

As a neutral observer at the game, it was a well contested game and on balance the best side just about won but it was fun seeing Sudbury rattle Harlow for a while at the end of normal time and extra time.

Well played both sides and I wish Sudbury success next year and I'm sure they'll do very well.

I look forward to going back to Harlow with the Urchins to compete for three valuab;e league points.

I think he's just confused. This is what actually happened:

Being so wealthy, generous and curteous, when one of the beautiful AFC Hornchurch female supporters asked if someone could buy her a drink a number of the galant male supporters around her immediately reached for their wallets. Unfortunately, because they were bulging with so much cash they burst open spraying coins around.

Well it's an interesting story. Naturally I wasn't there so have no idea what he's waffling on about. Could he be referring to chocolate coins?

No I am speaking from experience, at our home game this season, where you played us off the park but we still won 2-0. there was a group of your so called fans trying to provoke us but we are not like that. There was a couple of coins thrown into or crowd which missed and just hit the deck, then their was a couple of middle age men just watching us all the time trying to intimidate us. The two games at your place were totaly different, no hassle and friendly banter, maybe West Ham were at home on those two occaisons. There is no need to call names either, just pointing out the facts, maybe you was not their. But I suppose you have only been following them sinse the Conference days when Bryco were in control. Anyway hope to see you all next season in a more freindly enviroment. I think you could take a lesson from Sudbury.

seems a strange time to bring all this up lh.

has it taken this long for you to pluck up the courage after you were intimidated so, or are you just stirring it up a bit.

i reckon it's the latter.

i could easily go on about how your fans were racist, but had they been, or had i heard it, i would probably have mentioned it at the time. run along now and we'll see you next season.

your fans started the trouble at your place and we all know that...now fck off and enjoy your promotion and get a life....we were 21 points in front of you...have some respect for that the same as we have had for your success on saturday...

as treeboy says...you have had 6 months to come on here and say this...why now...

The coins were supposed to land in the flat cap next to the bloke who was asleep in his sleeping bag under the cardboard box tent.

We're rich and generous in Hornchurch and the middle aged men watching you weren't trying to imtimidate you they've just never seen tramps before.

At the game on Saturday I had to queue for 30 minutes to get served at the food outlet. I joined the queue at 3-30 to beat the half-time rush. There seemed to be three women doing their best to cope but the queue seemed to move so slowly.

With the prospect of several big games next season, Harlow may wish to review how this could be better managed.

Mr Hawk.

First and foremost a lesson in the English language. You should have written 'maybe you were not there' and not 'maybe you was not their'. A very poor D- for you.

Secondly, as you have jumped to a conclusion let me set you straight. I first went to watch Hornchurch on a very cold Saturday during the 1994/95 season - a little before our Conference days.
