Exactly Martin. No offence to Wilko but if the club was in a better position I'd like to think we could attract managers (and players) like Drax.

It's a superb result for them, which is the culmination of a very impressive run in recent months. Well done to them and all credit to a very good manager and his playing staff. We can only look on with envy, as it pretty much sums up the divide which now exists between the two clubs.

I wasn't expecting to see anything regarding our success. I actually came on to offer (very) belated commiserations on your relegation. More importantly, I was wanting to offer my wishes that you manage to sort out what is going on with the club and at least get a home back in/nearer the town.

 

From the Maidenhead fans I speak with, no one has any real animosity towards Slough, but are more concerned that this could happen to anyone and that the apathy shown by the people who can make/change decisions regarding the club is effectively killing it slowly.

 

I did hear rumours of a possible benefit event/match for Slough pre-season involving our lot. Anyone at your end heard anything about this? If not, perhaps STSA should contact MUSA and we'll see if we can sort something.

 

Oh, and say hello to Stevie de Halio from us. Still much loved by us.
