Confguide forum suggests we have 'broken the bank' to sign him. Strange when club announce we have a 'reduced playing budget' next season. Surely the only way we might afford him is if Trotty has some good blackmail material on him as a leverage to get his signature.

Would be a good signing but tbh i dont really see it, with a reduced budget this year and the fact our squad depth needs to be adressed just doesnt seem a logical move for the club or for the player.

Not sure i can believe it either-does not ring true to me.

 

Either way, hope we are keeping/signing Haworth, as a big striker(which Boylan is'nt -added an improved dimension to our play in last couple of months.

Now that MUST be a rumour & nothing else,surely! Anyway you should be putting your money on us even WITHOUT Boylan. wink You will have to wait a longtime for any odds on ANYONE though.

I find this very difficult to believe - just rumour-mongering as far as I'm concerned. Where would the money have come from? And, if we have 'broken the bank', there would be no more funds to strengthen other areas of the squad (such as the need for another centre back). Which, of course, would fuel the debate: which players are on their way to make funds available...?

Complete rubbish imo.

 

Whats more, probably not worth it anyway.

 

Past his sell by date.

Ok on a free transfer, but not worth it otherwise imo.

 

Would rather have three other players for price of him

when we see the contract and his signiture then i will believe it . Only way this could be done is if Trotty has got rid of 4-5 players added there wages together to make 1 big wage then use the up and coming reserves that we`ve all been talking about throughout the season . Would be great to have Boylan here and to be using the talent we have already next season .
