That's new.. a neutral ground for the final? Good for you, but sh!t for Needham Market. Should have been at Halstead, Witham or Stanway to be fair to both sets of fans...

Anyway, good luck mate and when you lift it, you may notice our name etched on it from 1997-8 and a few times in days of yore before that...

Thank you Smallsy.. Takes a Bowers player to explain things. Didn't think the East Anglian Cup was held on 'neutral' territory. Mind you should be, considering some for travelling involved. We went up to Spalding for a semi-final about 9 years ago. But at least it was on a Saturday and a good day out. Won 3-1 and hosted Aveley in the final on the following Friday night...

Yep..2-0 down in first 15 minutes (Paul got their second) and came back to win 3-2.

After the major clear out, we did 'secure' a few Aveley bods.. Trevor Paul was class in his day, scored a few peaches for us...Before he took the M11 route a la many others...

Steve Good is a squad player and i still remember his mum taking him to football matches.Mark Jones was unlucky not to get a contract at SUFC but he's still had an honest career in non league.Quinton didn't play much because of the injury but you could see was a decent lad and a good player.Romford...a forge for talented players frown

Steve Good was a great bloke always took the time to talk to me after some games and a decent player to boot. Quinton was a quality young player and it is nice to see he is captain of Braintree. My abiding memory of Jones was him scoring direct from a corner on a few occasions smile
