5 a side pitches

I was wondering if anybody has heard when work will start on the 5 a side pitches. I thought I read that they were waiting for the community certificate to be issued with a date of 2nd May looking likely.

Not heard nowt, but you would of thought the pitches being a important source of income they would get there arses in to gear.

This revenue. How much goes to the club and how much to the developer?

That was asked at the open meeting a little while back and they were still discussing figures back then i believe.

JJ I believe they were talking about an income of around £400,000 a year from the pitches. Whatever the percentage they agree on, it should be a significant sum.

I belive that there will be 5 pitches that equates to an average of £1,500 (approx) per pitch per week or approx £220 per day. How much per hour will it cost to hire a pitch?

Prehaps an Accountant could answer that question.

The money mentioned £400K is turnover, there are all the relevant expenses to come out of that as well

 

It will create a strong revenue stream for the club all year round, and imo is a very good start to the development

Based on the way the Council have acted on the Motor Museum in the paper today we could have everything in place and they would still piss us about.

I reckon thats their game anyway Frankie & always has been. Now that he's got back in watch for some reverse decisions or FURTHER delays at least.I notice nothing INSIDE the ground(apart from hollow promises)has got the go-ahead yet.Be nice to see something OUTSIDE begin to take shape.My personal opinion is that these five-a-side pitches will STILL be awaiting commencement at the end of this month let alone the middle of it.
