Close season challenge

As we are now in the close season here are few challenges for those in charge to come up with answers to prior to the start of the season:

Where will Slough Town be playing in the 07/08 season?

Who will be sponsoring the club/shirts?

What leauge will Slough town be playing in?

Will Martyn Deaner still be funding the club?

How many players will stay?

I personally predict only 2 of the above will be answered.

I thought it was already fairly common knowledge that we will be playing at Stag Meadow, with the same shirts and Lakes as our shirt sponsor (wasn't it an 18-month deal signed midway through the season?)

As for which league we'll be in, that's hardly up to 'those in charge', though they can try and persuade those that actually do decide all they like.

Just because a team is defeated by 5,6,7,8, or 9 by much BETTER opposition, it doesn't mean they weren't giving it 100%

You can be of a lesser ability (which most of our players were against some teams), give your all, and still get thrashed.

i take it you are still waiting for money then, anon.

Windsor because Roy has an office there and can't be arsed to move.

According to Matt it will be Lakes again due to the contract, though it wouldn't surprise me for Deaner to remove them as some bizarre tax scam.

Nowt the owners of the club, whoever they might be, can do about this one but the Ryman League will be moving heaven and earth to keep us there.

surprisingly, the experts have had us moving to the southern league since the connie north and south came into effect and we're not there yet though should we stay in the Ryman it will be a miracle

We groundshared with Windsor last season and we played in the Ryman with Windsor in the Southern.

It doesn't always go with where you play. It's mostly to do with politics !

Anyway, what ever the league, we will have new gronuds to go to.

You can knock us all you like mate, but as far as i'm concerned this season has shown what real football fans are about. If you had been at wimbledon i think even you would have been impressed with our support for our football club. Its not the fans fault we have been kicked out of our ground or get no support from our local council yet we have still stuck with our team through thin and thin. That is something you will never know about though as no doubt you support the great united from the comfort of your armchair. You are probably a follower not a real fan and as soon as ferguson leaves and you start sliding down the table no doubt you will attach yourself to some other glory hunting bunch of prima donnas! (If you come from manchester, was taken to the ground at the age of six by your father and go to every home and away match, then i apologise for the above comments, but i bet you haven't!!!!!!!!)
