They are MUGS of the biggest order, all mouth and when it came to it, they did not even show! As you said he who laughs last laughs longest, and I shall be laughing long into summer!

Gavin, I was at the game and surely your not telling me that you went to Harefield expecting trouble, the place is first class run by decent people, do you really expect they would have let any one disgrace the club on such an occasion.

any self respecting fan should know how to conduct themselves and the hospitality shown by Harefield to both sets of supporters was a credit to the league. you should be thanking them for putting on a first class show not giving it large.

Gavin - I have to go along with that description of Browndog although I have no problem with the Club itself from when I've visited Preston Park previously.

The Harefield management and supporters were excellent and certainly showed how a final should be run. Both sets of supporters their officials and the many representatives from the league were made very welcome and I would salute them for their efforts and wish them well next season.

I NEVER expected any trouble whatsoever, I KNEW they were all idle threats. It makes me laugh the lenghts some of them go to wind me up, its THEM that really should get a life!

As for Harefield putting on a good night, yes they did, but I am sure they made enough money from it as well, both on the gate and in the bar. No news on what the gate was, but it looked over 200+

So you are telling me that they host the final for the good of their health? yeah right! I cant belive that the club hosting any finals would not get a penny out of it. Even if the league dont give them anything the host club make plenty from the bar takings on the night.

No one said they didn't make money, they just don't take profit from the gate. So by that I assume they take their expenses for lights etc from the gate give the rest to the league and any bar money is theirs?!
