Right - Here is the scoop.

 

Our lads in the squad have surpassed anything that we ever thought…Remember the Heybridge spirit that night?? Being 2 down home to Margate that night??

We have also been the only team I have seen in this league to play the whole season come rain or shine in short sleeve shirts - How could Matty do that to them !!

 

So, come what may on Saturday I for one have loved this season! Us on the terraces have had some great laughs and made some new friends along the way - I still think Margate fans are really Billericay Blues !!! (nice fans)

 

So to bring this to a fitting finale - I will start by saying -

Sorry I cant be with you on saturday to cheer you on but my thoughts will be with the mighty blues. Its seems funny really watching th team all season and not to be there for the climax.

 

I am still recovering from my operation and the wife is about to have a first child tomorrow (hopefully). At least we wont have a problem with names, How about Ronnie Billy Kerrers Blewitt Heffers Macca Gameo Dorms Whelps......,,, Owens to celebrate the mighty Blues going up.

I have not asked the wife yet if we can name our baby after the whole Billericay squad. I am not sure what she will say or do I? Also I am not sure what to do if it is a girl ! She might get a complex when she gets older !!!
