2 wins in a month is a very good month for them in all honesty

It must have been based on their improvement and beating ETFC. They were a vastly improved team at our gaff because a new Manager, good one as well, and new players.

If they survive the drop they'll hold their own next season and I wish them well, lot of tradition there.

Think they've already been relegated to the Essex Senior. Shame as them and Wivenhoe were the only grounds I didn't get to last season.

I played at Cricklefields a few times Yellow and at the 'Gate on the Eastern Avenue, Cup Final, for Carlsberg Athletic.

Nice people but the crowds don't come, maybe they need a PR man.

Mind you if you play there during Diwali, heaven help, never experienced watching a match under a smokescreen before or since.
