You really are beginning to annoy me, Foghorn - go and support someone else, if you're that disenchanted with things at the Fleet.

Like many people on here, I've been a supporter for many years (over 30 in fact) and I've seen both good times and bad at this club - things may not have been going well this season, but its always going to be difficult moving up a level.

The fact is that player turnover at clubs at our level is often high anyway & the fact that many of our squad at the start of the season had come from lower levels, made it likely that we would have to make changes if players couldnt adapt. This is exactly what has hapened.

Equally, the other issue that will always mean we find it hard to compete fully, is the budgetary side of things, and the fact that we are only part time. Full time clubs will always have a head start over part timers, although whether they can afford to maintain this status in the long run is debateable, in view of the finances in football in general.

Andy did brilliantly to help us win the title last year - and things cant be so different this year.

Let all true Fleet fans continue getting behind Andy and the team - we can survive this season - and lets face it anyway, without seasons of struggle like this, we wouldnt be able to appreciate the highs like last season.

Up the Fleet !

I have no idea what the truth about the manager and his relations with his squad, so I cannot honestly say if you are right or wrong.

You show me a workplace (which is precisely what a football club is), anywhere, where there aren't disputes between management and staff, whether they are open grumbles or things under the surface, and I would be astonished.

Nowhere is perfect, and when matters become stressed - as they are bound to have done at Fleet during our fall towards the lower parts of the Conference - internal relations will obviously suffer.

I have no doubt that the players and manager have disagreements over the right and wrong way of doing things, but equally, I am sure that the majority of these are minor in nature and are soon resolved.

As I said, we can survive this season, and can start afresh again next season.

What the situation needs is a bit of stability!!

What the situation needed was a quality Centre Back.. And Andy has now got one - I give you Adie 'stability' Pennock.

And what with The fridge on the way back, keep it going Andy , you're on the right track..

Remember Davies? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Didn't he leave in a huff when we signed Davues <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I think I remember sectioning him at the end of last season. He's still hospitalised and under sedation.
