>>>If he was sent to the stands for his out burst would

he be allowed on the pitch as a substitute for another player?

No, definitely not. The person sent off from the bench is shown a red card - the referee is not concerned whether he is a manager, asst manager, or player - a red card means you are excluded in whatever capacity, from that match. (The only possible exception would be the physio, since a physio would be required to attend in the event of injury).

But there is one area that I am uncertain about - for the Leyon match, there were two separate matches, each of 45 mins duration. I would question the legality of that ruling, as teams are required to change ends at half time, and also matches have to last for a certain time (80 mins I think).

But if a player was sent off in the first half, as the second half was a different match, then he should be allowed to play in the second half of the same match.

Likewise if a player got a yellow card in the first half, and another in the second half, would he get sent off for two yellows? (Yes, I know that this happened at Wivenhoe when the same player was booked twice in three minnutes).

I do not know the ruling relating to this, but would very much question the rule which allows two sets of three points to be awarded for half a match each.
