Have won the Capital League before tonight by virtue of the fact that Thurrock lost last night, but our lads drew tonight 2 2 at Ware in a barn storming game that saw us go 2 0 into the lead and after a sending off, concede two straight away to make the final score even.

Interesting question arose after Tuesday's game.

Asa as player/manager was, quite rightly, giving the Ref loads of grief.

If he was sent to the stands for his out burst would

he be allowed on the pitch as a substitute for another player?

yes i believe.You can be sent off in your capacity as a manager/coach and it will not affect your status as a player.This at least was the case 7-8 years ago.

Don't forget the ref is in charge of all events at a football match and makes the decision.

"Designated" footie matches such as our Darlo and Trani games though come under the control of the safety officer.
