well we are guaranteed to play chelmsford next season which should guarantee a gate of over a thousand,hopefully tomorrow night afc wimbledon will be staying in ryman prem which should gurantee us a crowd of 1800 plus maybe more and if ricay lose to bromley on saturday thats 3 gates more or less guaranteed to beat any in the league this season!

Not the most exciting match from a neutral's point of view but it had its moments. Some very close shaves for both teams until the last ten minutes when Chelmsford scored followed by a Billericay equaliser - both goals almost identical.

 

Burbridge shouldn't have been given a second yellow, in my opinion, but saying that it was an incredibly stupid and pointless tackle to make when it was clear how card happy the ref was. Things calmed down after that though for a while I was expecting the man in black to even the teams up at some point.

 

The Blues played very well with their ten men and will probably need the extra day off to recouperate as a result!

 

Good atmosphere, I thought, considering the restrictions of the ground, and a fair result in all.

 

Here's to another local game next season! Will chelmsford be our local derby or will the 'Ricky fail at the final hurdle? Only time will tell...

if bromley get to the final then i think they will win,think they are the best side but their cup run seemed to put them off for a while.

500 sounds an appropriate estimate, though with the separate entrances surely an official figure is available.

As for noise, Ricky made more throughout the match but this was made only from a select few totalling around 70 and with the covering you had it was inevitable the sound would reach further. Chelmsford made a greater noise when events went their way and the young sugar-laden foul-mouthed oiks behind me certainly made some noise!
