According to the Romford Recorder, we have signed Richard Goddard an another ex Thurrock player, who was at Con south yeading this season.

Powerful centre-half who joined the Ding from Thurrock in the summer of 2006. Also featured last season as a makeshift centre-forward for Thurrock but in his usual centre half role, Richard began his career at Arsenal as a trainee before moving on to Brentford and Woking. A move to Chesham followed, before spells and Harrow Borough and St Albans and then Thurrock in June 2004.

colin has spoken to several players in the past week but as yet no one has put pen to paper....it is difficuult to persuade these top players to play for little pub teams like ours...especially as we never win anything....

Going by the Time FM team of the season,Colin should be looking at the Essex Senior League for players for next season.
