Laura and I would like to thank everyone for the kind card and money we recieved for our wedding day on June 23rd.

 

It really was a thoughtful gesture. In a way, i think it sums up the Slough supporters in general. You have been first class this season, and probably the only positive to come out of the year is that, you are now quite rightly known by everyone as the best supporters in non league.

 

If anyone wanted to come to the church on the 23rd, they are more han welcome. Would be nice to get a picture with the 'Rebel Army' with their shirts on! The church is in Great Missenden and kicks off at 1.45. You will probably find me in one of the local pubs on the (small) highstreet beforehand.

Matty all the best. I was sorry I wasn't there to buy you a beer (or burger) on Saturday night and wish you well for the wedding, but the feet just weren't going to allow it.

 

You came back to the club at a difficult time and did us proud. You wore the shirt and served with honour. We didn't win a lot of matches but you made a lot of people happy, and the celebrations when you lobbed Fatty Lovett on Saturday in the second half will live with me for a long time.

Matt, can't be there to wish you and the future Mrs Miller all the best on the day as Emma and I are away, but again, thank you (and all the other players who've seen out the season with us) for giving your all on the pitch despite very difficult circumstances off it.

 

All the best for the 23rd, Emma and I will be thinking of you both and hope to see you back next season to claim the Golden Boot 07/08 (I'm sure we'll all chip in and get you one next season!)
