...For our return to the conference South I thought I'd pop over to your play off game tonight to see just how bad the pub teams that might come up will be in our forthcoming championship season

 

I can then report back to our manager (whoever that may be) with the number of first teamers he can leave out when we play you!

 

In all honesty it's a hard one to say who I'd like to come up from your league, with only us being relegated from the conference and no other full time teams it could be quite an open season and a season of success for anyone prepared to take a bit of a gamble on the season.

Chelmsford are obviously a bit cash rich (are they full time BTW?) and already have more or less a conference side with half that Canvey team so they could challenge

Bromley have also got a few quid swilling about

AFC Wimbledon could call on a few quid with their gate reciepts I guess but I'm really am not a fan, be good to keep them at the level for a while longer

So that leaves little old 'ricky, I'm not sure I could bring myself to say 'good luck' but I guess if you do come up it's an easy 6 points

Funny that! That's exactly the phrase Chelmo used about us when they got all excited about Mr King and his merry men joining! Unfortunately for them they only managed one point off us
