Success or Failure?

A COMPLETE FAILURE. You "blind faith" merchants are idiots. Too many performances like the Potters Bar one with a lack of effort from a team that didn't actually "want" a cup run or to go up. Still no new stadium I see. Big deal-we're getting some five a side pitches but yet again the promise of a new ground hasn't happenned "five games before the end of the season".

A mediocre club that doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Bob-stop expressing an opinion and go and purchase some rose tinted spectacles. Being "unsuccessful" seems good enough for some people on here.

The title of this thread is "success or failure?" which when you look at it is a rhetorical question in end product terms. Apart from a few stunning performances there was a hell of a lot of dross-I for one have lost count of the number of times I left a game fuming last season.

The answer is simple to this thread-failure!

Very mature comment from a mod I must say. Come off the drugs and you'll find reality. Slough, Carshalton, Staines, Ashford, Hendon, Harrow, Tonbridge etc... made me feel pretty bloody negative I can tell you.

By the way what are spectatles?

Ah Hornet. The pld "Mod" strike. Is that the best you could come up with ? I agree the season on a whole has been a failure, one of Trotty objectives was to gain promotion. But where was OUR club two years ago ? So stop making the remeks (me included) and stop nit-picking on bloody spelling !

Some positives though. Some great results and performances at Chelmsford and Bromley etc. The new reserve and youth sides,A few local players looking good.Danny Hocktons goals.

But some dreadful inconsistency and local players seemed to be put off by some people being overcritical. (The kind of people who think nobody in Thanet can ever be any good)
The lack of progress on the ground though is very very sad.
Would the present stadium really be good enough for conference south football. And what if the club had done well in one of the cups.
The biggest crowd this season was against Ramsgate, which shows how much things have gone right at Southwood and wrong at Hartsdown.
