Use this thread for all the pre-season rumours and confirmations:

Paul Bastock has said he won't be here next season as he wants to be somewhere nearer to his Boston home.

Gary Elphick off to Bristol Rovers

Tom Davis wants to go to Stevenage

Steve Cook to return as manager

Just a few things heard yesterday!

Ha ha. Just shows the accuracy of the first post on this thread. Woking would be much more likely. Anyway, I thought all these players were supposedly on contract for next season.

As for the reserve team manager position, surely that it is for the new 1st team manager to decide upon and no-one else. That's what happens at most clubs, whatever the level.

The Mighty Saints is not "most clubs", Boney.

Nine players are on contracts for next season: Bastock, Seeby, Elphick, Marwa, Davis, Watters, Matt 'Matty' Hann, Archer and Clarke.

I hear that one of those has effectively gone already, and another is on his way. At least one more wants to go but, although I don't know anything about football, I'm not sure that he'll achieve his expectations.

Stand by for real news over the next couple of weeks.

That hack's interview with Colin Lippiatt on the web-site this week might be very revealing......

Wouldn't blame Basher if he moved nearer to home he's done a hell of a lot of travelling to play over the seasons, Good luck to Elphick if he gets the chance to move into the league (Let's make sure we get a sell on clause if he does).

You make it sound like a labour of love, Hatboy! When the early Christmas presents were dished out in December, Bazza was given an extension and is under contract with the club for two more seasons. I assume that it's in his contract that he doesn't have to attend training with the lads.

I guess that he is among the higher paid players and if there are to be cost-cutting measures next season, then he might be an early casualty. A tough act to follow, mind

He was a fine signing and good luck to him from me [if he goes, of course].
