I'm over the disappointment now

At start of season, i think i predicted we would finish 7th, so i guess i have no right to be disappointed.

What hurts of course is both the pathetic last three months, and the appalling cup defeats which hurt right up to the last game of the season.

 

I think i've finally moved on though, and am just looking forward to the new season now.

I still think we were not hungry enough to get promotion, but maybe its no bad thing as the infrastructure to cover the travelling costs etc. frankly was not there.There will be no excuse if the off field side is not sorted in 12 months time though.

 

i was expecting a mass player exodus during the summer, but having heard the interviews, maybe that will not be the case.

 

I just hope the club realises that the supporters deserve information-however trivial it may seem during the summer.

Last summers non attempts to gain sponsorship were pathetic.

 

Lets hope there is a proper off pitch build up, early info re:pre-season fixtures-the opposition is not that important-but dates are-.

Keep the fans in the loop and they will turn out in the numbers required-no attempt to stimulate interest was made last summer-i hope the lesson has been learned.

Keep the info flowing /communication up and it will be reciprocated i'm sure.

 

I wish RT well for a successful 2007/8 season,and reckon he has a half decent chance-just give us a bit of cup excitement aswell next season though please.
