have started bitching on the canvey forum about how they have bigger crowds than us this season,funny that seeing as they are in the league above and actually had more than 4 games with away fans visiting them.P,lus on top of that had a local derby with a few hundred chelmo fans and a game against wimbledon which probably attracted 1000 odd wimbledon fans.No doubt in my mind that next year our crowds will be bigger and we will also stuff them if they don't go up.Even if they do go up our crowds will probably be bigger as there are not many bigger clubs in the conf south,we are bigger than most of them support wise

What would their attendance have been if the Wimbledon and Chelmsford games were omitted? That should reduce their average by a fair few.

 

As for their ground, yes, pretty poor. Bar, extended but last I saw naff, though that was pre-carpet days.

 

The people are alright.

an athletics track is there as the stadium is used for more than one sport,been like that for years and is a facility that alot of young kids use growing up.If you take away the fact that we've got a athletics track away we have by far a better and more modern ground than ricay

More modern as you were a pub team until five years ago when you got a new owner turn up pump fistful of dollar and build a nice aesthetically pleasing ground whereas other club build grounds over time due to natural organic growth said clubs also tend not to go bankrupt as their success/status has been built up over time

lots of people put lots of money into lots of clubs CR and most verge on the edge of bankrupcy most of the time....just be grateful that your problems a while back were sorted out at the 12th hour or you could have been in the same boat......two very successful seasons have passed for us and indeed three for you since those days....we all move on...
