Lovely little ground @ ash one of the best i've been to in a while. This is the best wembley have played in a long while, i think the job Ash done on us @ vale farm motivated us and we played some really good football. Two good finishes in either half put us 2-0 up i should of made it 3 put i shanked my chance 6 yards out, i blame some chinese geezer called Knee-shin-toe Gutted!!

 

After the second goal we took our foot off the pedal and Ash really came at us with, with the ref giving them numerous free kicks they put us under pressure with really good set pieces and they got a goal from one of them but we held out for a welcome three points, JJ came on second half and did well, he was ignoring me with a face like a slapped ass in the bar after but he managed to put a few words together one of them being bye . . .

 

COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!!!

Sorry Wembers if i was a bit inhospitable but cant be seen chatting pleasently to the opposition - even after the game.

Did you notice we (Ash) came into our own bar after losing to you??? You should try it at your place sometime. Do you know where your bar is????

 

Nice to finally meet you anyway WW.

Thought you had a good game. Did miss a good chance though to kill the game off. We were due a below par performance after our 6 or 7 games winning streak. Unfortunately it came against Wembley. 3rd place is still in our hands though if we can beat Reading and North Greenford at home. You need us to slip up and you need a result against Colliers Wood.

I have to say with gritted teeth, that although Chipstead finished 1st and Merstham 2nd, i thought Wembley were certainly the best passing and complete football team in the CCL. Title contenders for next season!!!! Along with Ash of course.

Johnno pretty much back to full fitness now so hope to play a big part in our late charge for 3rd place.
