The local press says that Byron trained with Carlisle during the week and appears to be on his way up north. Good luck to the lad if he leaves, but I think he'll need more than a pair of gloves up there!

 

Deaner has spoken to the paper as well saying he's pretty unimpressed with the news of the Sikh school proposals on the green belt that Slough Town still have proposals for. He's pretty negative saying that without future proposals we don't have much to take to Mayfair or the Ryman League about next year. Not good

I really hope Bubb stays. He creates chances in midfield and if he leaves now it's going to severely harm our chances of going up. He's undoubtedly one of our best players, and I doubt we'd get money for him either? Is he on a contract?

Not sure if he's one of the four alongsige Tony Boot on contract.

 

He blows hot and cold for us. When he interested, like Gilkes, he can tear teams apart single handedly. Unfortunately for us, he's been cold on too many occassions, and not been involved enough. Hopefully for him, as he is definitely good enough, he'll impress Carlisle enough and have a permanent move there back to pro football where he wants to be.

Hmm rumour has it that better offers are hard to come by. I think some of our players would find it difficult to get the same level of reward with another team.

Not sure your sentence structure is quite correct in business terminology. You certainly pay some of your players a lot ( <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> some too much maybe?) but paying well usually means consistantly settling your financial liabilities when they fall due!

ouch...bit below the belt that one rebels...he he.......anyway...we've got a few overpaid strikers that we need to offload...sorry resettle....two of 'em are on a grand a week and the others on a bit more...I rekon they'd definately get you promoted and we'll take five grand up front and you can take over their contracts until the end of the season....I'll draw the papers up now and get me agent Peter Foster to nip over in the morning for a sign up....ha ha ha...no kites by the way....readies only.....he he....
